We love weddings, and we love that more people are becoming conscious of how their wedding flowers are grown, and that more people are keen to try their own hands at decorating.

Pricing will depend on the number of flowers or bouquets, and on your needs, i.e. what you prefer for us to arrange and what you want to DIY. Most commonly, we make up the bouquets and buttoniers for the bridal party and the rest of the flowers are bought loose in buckets for DIY arrangements for tables, features, etc. But we also see several creative brides doing their own arrangements, or doing them with the help of their bridal party.

Our buckets start at $125 for 50+ mixed seasonal stems of growers' choice, harvested and ready for you to pick up. Our bridal bouquets start at $115 and our buttoniers from $35 each.

We also love hosting hen parties. We share the space with Charlies Gelato who can provide delicious platters, ice-creams, coffees or alcoholic beverages for your party to indulge in the garden before or after your flower-picking experience.

If you are wanting a Slow Blooms wedding, please send us an email with all the information that applies out of the following:

  • What date?

  • Is it a wedding or hens party?

  • Number of buckets - pick your own or for us to harvest?

  • Number of bouquets - and do you want us to arrange?

  • Number of buttonholes/buttoniers - and do you want us to arrange?

  • A few reference images or a description of your style/colour scheme

  • Any special requests, for example "no purples" or "include pink dahlias"

Please read this first:

  • We only supply seasonal and naturally grown flowers, so we cannot guarantee a specific variety on a given day, but will do our best to match your colour scheme and special requests.

  • To see what is typically available around your wedding date, have a look at our Instagram or Facebook, where we have several seasons worth of examples of what is growing in our garden at what time of the year.

  • Slow Blooms staff will be there to support you in the harvesting process if you choose to pick your own. We recommend mornings or evenings, rather than in the heat of the day, to ensure your flowers last longer and do not wilt.

  • We typically use brown natural twine around the base of the bouquets, but if you have a ribbon you would rather we use, feel free to bring it along.

  • Ideally, you pick up your flowers the day before your wedding, i.e. Friday morning for a Saturday wedding. But we will work with your schedule.

  • Bring clean buckets to take the flowers away in, and plan for somewhere cool to store your flowers, out of direct sunlight. Usually, a cool hotel room is fine, but if it's a particularly hot day/room you might want to put the AC on (using the night mood - we don't want to ice blast them either).

  • If your budget is under $200 we ask that you don't contact us but just show up and pick your flowers at your leisure and pay by weight, as a regular pick-your-own customer.

  • A deposit applies to lock in your date.
